Adoptable Pets

Sadie for Adoption!

Sadie is a 5 1/2 year old 10 lb Min Pin. She’s good with other dogs, completely housebroken, and very smart. She’s very affectionate, friendly, and playful once she knows someone. She bonds quickly with one person and follows them around with complete loyalty. She’s good with other people in the home too. She seems to love men! She is a barker, but mostly because she’s taking to you and telling you what she wants (to be picked up, go out, more water, etc). Sadie does heave some separation anxiety so someone that is home a lot is ideal. $350 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spay, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. Bambi for Adoption!

Bambi is a 2 year old female, 17 lb, min pin mix. She was rescued from a hoarding house of 33 other dogs along with 3 puppies that may or may not have been hers. She’s very sweet but skittish with new people, curious, playful, and friendly. Has one blue eye. Bambi came to us from a hoarding situation, extremely scared and unsocialized with people. Working with her, she has warmed up to her foster mom and dares to go out to the back yard with the other dogs. But is still skittish and scares easily, either with sudden movement or noise. She does come for treats and food and allows her to pick her up and cuddle for a while. At this time, we feel that the ideal home for her is with someone who works from home or is retired AND has another playful dog. Bambi is young, active and very playful with other dogs. Even now, recovering from her spay surgery, she is very eager to play. The ideal home for Bambi would be with another playful dog in the household is
because she needs a playful companion to feel secure.

$350 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spay, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. For more info email info@savinggracefl.org. If you are interested in adopting please submit an adoption application on our website www.savinggracefl.org.

Pattycake for Adoption!

Please read the ENTIRE post before filling out an application-
Who is up for a challenge? Miss Pattycake came to us from a hoarder. We believe that she has never had been pet as she will not let you get close to her and will hide all day if she is not on medication to help the anxiety. She is so so scared of the world. She’s on medications for her fear and we are working with the doctor to determine the right combination of medications to help her be not so petrified of life. Despite the fear, she is sweet and you can tell has a lot of sass. Her ideal home needs the following:

1) another small playful and sweet dog for her to play with and so she be shown the ropes;
2) A patient and kind human who understands that it will take work and likely months before she can be pet;;
2.5) A human who accepts she will likely need to be on meds the rest of her life to ease her anxiety/fear
3) A human who doesn’t mind using pee per pads as she has never been leashed or walked on a leash before;
4) A home without carpeting around the house since she uses peepee pads;
5) A home with no children;
6) Palm Beach, Broward or Miami Dade county only

PATTYCAKE is an 8 lb female chihuahua mix. She is very delicate little soul who was saved from a hoarding house. Pattycake will hide at first in a new home and needs patience, understanding and love before coming out from hiding. Please only apply if you understand she needs A LOTTTTT of time to settle in to feel safe. Due to her timid nature, Pattycake needs a quiet, calm home with no children as they will scare her. $350 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spayr, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. For more info email info@savinggracefl.org. If you are interested in adopting please submit an adoption application on our website www.savinggracefl.org.

Walter is a very playful, strong puppy.  Needs lots of toys & attention! He is house-broken.
Crate trained up to 4 hours without issue.

Good with other large breed dogs but not cats.
Older kids are okay because he’s a strong puppy and jumps up and soft bites a lot so it’s more about him scaring them that it is about it being dangerous.

Candy for Adoption!

Candy is a 2 year old French Bull Dog who came to Saving Grace because a breeder purchased her when she was a puppy. After several months, the breeder noticed that Candy’s belly was getting larger. After taking Candy to the vet, the breeder learned that Candy has a severely damaged heart, that leaks fluid into her abdomen. The breeder did not want to deal with the prospect of a puppy with heart condition, so he surrendered her our rescue.
Candy became the foster of The Tarantola family in September 2021. She also had another part- time foster family who shares a lot of Candy’s care, when the can.
Since she becamea foster, she has been loved, nurtured and had excellent care. She has been seen by 3 different veterinary cardiologists. The most recent was at The Small Animal Hospital at FSU in Gainesville. After several days of tests, or was determined that Candy would not be a candidate for heart surgery. The risks were too great, and everyone involved in Candy’s care agreed that it would be better for Candy to live the rest of her life on medication, with a loving, patient family.

What can i tell you about Candy? First, she has no idea that she has a bad heart. She’s sweet, happy, and cuddly. She is obsessed with the ball. If you let her, she’ll spend all day bringing you the ball and having you try to pry it out if her little mouth. Also, she’s goofy and acts silly. She’s super smart. She can push the ball with her snout, if it goes under piece of furniture, so that it can come out the other side. She’s cuddle bunny. She loves getting up on your lap. Or laying on your chest and falling into a deep, loud snooring sleep.
She’s friendly to everyone and loves other dogs (once she’s gotten to know them). She respects cats, and really isn’t interested in them.

She’s a fantastic dog who needs someone who wants to make her last years happy and as healthy as possible. Some things you need to know.

Her medication is life-saving and she can never, ever skip a day. EVER
The medication she takes, is a diaretic, and must be given with A LOT of water. So she Candy can and will have accidents and home. She needs someone who can take her out frequently, so as to eliminate the chance of accidents. Therefore, she should be in a first floor home.

Her potential adopter must be aware that Candy will have a shortenedife span, due to no fault of her own. But this sweet, funny, silly girl will help us All learn how to live for today, because tomorrow isn’t promised.
If you think you may have it in you to make Candy’s next year’s joyful and safe, contact Savinggracefl.org to fill out an application.

$350 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spay, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip.
