She loves calm humans with warm laps (on her diva-liscious terms). Some other dogs are tolerated — as long as they respect her space and surrender snacks on command. But she prefers to be the only four legged queen of the household.
Sandy isn’t high maintenance — unless you count her desire for peace, quiet, and a sunny spot to rule from. Think of her as a tiny queen looking for her kingdom. 👑

Bambino is a 2 year old male, 67 lb Carolina Dog mix (guessing). He was found as a stray. He was so hungry he was eating the left over cat food when the colony feeder would come. She contacted a rescue to help and we stepped up. He is good with other dogs, cats, housebroken, and very playful. He is doing a great job adjusting to life in a home. Lola is a 7-year-old, 8 lb Shih Tzu who is as sweet as she is gentle. She’s a quiet, shy girl who takes her time to trust, but once she feels safe, she just wants to be close to her person and enjoy their company.
Lola loves leisurely walks and a calm, peaceful environment. She’s looking for a quiet home without children, where she can feel safe and secure. She may be okay with another calm dog who respects her space, but she isn’t interested in playing or being pestered.
Sadly, Lola was given up when her previous owner moved back to Columbia. She came to us underweight but has since regained her health and is ready for her forever home.

Meet Stormy, the fearless little, young year old feline kitten who refuses to let his back legs slow him down! This sweet and spunky kitten is looking for a forever home where love knows no boundaries. He is unable to use his back legs, but he pulls himself all around just fine. He has no idea that he’s any different than any other furbaby. She is around 3 years old, weighs around 45 pounds (medium sized), very low energy when she is inside – a great companion. She is potty trained and can be left alone for a few hours roaming freely- she won’t chew on anything or go potty inside. She loves her plushies, playing fetch, enjoys sunbathing and riding in the car. She loves going for walks, and is very observant. Her number one enemies are squirrels 😂🐿️. She enjoys being in the backyard but she doesn’t need one as long as she goes on short walks to go potty!
Lia is super sweet with humans but is dog selective and doesn’t like cats. A home where she is the only pet would be best for her. She is already dewormed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed and ready for her forever home! 🏡🚀

Hanny is a Mountain Cur and Plott Hound mix mixed about 6 years old, she weighs about 45 pounds, very playful and calm girl that LOVES car rides. A home that will best suited Hanny would be an only dog home, although she is dog friendly with certain dogs, she can be territorial for her food and toys. She hasn’t been around children but she has never shown aggression towards any human. Hanny does great on a leash and loves walks! Nanny was abandoned by her family. She showed up on someone’s porch scared and hungry. Once she was let in she warmed up quickly and all she wants his cuddles. $250 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spay, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. Luna is looking for a loving home where she can be the only princess in the castle. She is an affectionate and loyal, boxer mix that will be 2 years old in January. Luna is spayed and healthy. She is 50lbs of love. She enjoys playing, sleeping, and being with her people. She prefers to avoids other animals in her home. Bruno is a 8 yr old 28 lb male French Bulldog with IVDD. He is good with other dogs, loves people, and is very easy going. He is partially disabled. He can walk but has a wobble. He receives physical therapy, acupuncture, and laser therapy. Bruno wears a bellyband because he is incontinent and He does drop stool, but since it’s hard poopy balls, it’s easy peasy to pick up.. Not ideal but he is worth a good life. You see his owners got him the IVDD surgery after a spinal cord injury but never followed up on rehab. They left him in a crate in the garage in his own urine and feces. When he came into rescue his white fur was stained yellow and he smelled of urine. It took many bathes to make him clean.
